J.K. Reed Community Resource Center Inc. is a faith based, Christ centered, non-profit community resource center established by Joseph W. Reed and Kim C. Reed on January 1, 2020. Our purpose is to provide essential needs and resources to the most vulnerable in our community and surrounding areas. We aim to improve the lives of needy and at-risk families in the Glen Oaks Community and Baton Rouge area. We will accomplish this goal by operating as a command center to identify needs in partnership with social services agencies. Our desire is to be the community advocate by being the link to help provide valuable services and resources. We also host a youth enrichment program where kids can have a safe place where they can learn, grow and play.
